Personal and Semi-Private Training
If you are looking for personal, buddy, or semi-private training to ensure that you are receiving the most specific, goal oriented health and fitness training program, this option is for you! Training sessions are conducted at my Norcross-based training center. Personal, buddy, and semi-private training sessions are individualized for each participant based on a thorough analysis and assessment to ensure that you accomplish your goals in the shortest time possible. Rates vary by training option and length of membership purchased.
Sport Performance Training
If you are an athlete demanding a high level of performance I offer individualized training programs regardless of your level of competition. I have experience working with athletes from youth sports to the professional level and everything in between. All training is developed for your specific sport requirements, and the various energy system requirements of your position within the sport, based on the results of a thorough assessment to determine your current level of physical development.
Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) and Qigong
Taiji (Tai Chi) is a Chinese martial art often referred to as an internal art, as the focus is on energy cultivation and fluidity of movement. Qigong is a Chinese system of exercise and breathing. Taiji and qigong have been shown to improve health, reduce stress, increase energy, lower blood pressure, and improve balance and flexibility among other things. Research conducted at Harvard University has shown Taiji to be an excellent form of exercise for health promotion. Taiji and qigong are often referred to as moving meditation. I offer two Taiji classes weekly on Mondays and Fridays. Our beginner class is held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and focuses on the fundamentals of breathing, qigong, walking, and hand forms with the goal of learning the Yang 24 short form. The advanced class is held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and builds on the skills acquired in the beginner class advancing on to the Yang 108 long form and introduces skills such as "push hands", advanced qigong exercises, Taiji sword forms, silk reeling, and Chen style Taiji.
EPTS Kettlebell Fitness Class
If you enjoy working out in a small group and want to learn how to use kettlebells for fitness, you will love the EPTS Kettlebell Fitness classes. These classes appeal to all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced, and will challenge everyone that participates regardless of your experience. Classes will build general strength, endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and will help you burn fat and tone up faster than you could imagine! This is a cost effective way to get a great full-body workout with other fitness enthusiasts in a fun, supportive atmosphere! Classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 8pm and Sunday from 2pm to 3pm.
Semi-Private Coaching Group
This program is for everyone who is serious about their training and looking for help with their training program. You will have your own program designed for your goals and will have my assistance with spotting and technical corrections during these sessions. Sessions are offered on Tuesday and Thursday: 6pm-7pm and Sunday: 12pm-1pm.
Program Design + Gym Membership
This is a great option if you are looking for a place to train on your own with programming assistance. These are scheduled on an individual basis.
